Escape The Fate

Afternoon Killjoys!
So! Escape The Fate(ETF) have released two songs from their new album "Ungrateful". These songs are titled "You're Insane" and "Ungrateful" In their newer songs, Craig, uses more unclean vocals, with chorus's being basic singing (Compared to their older stuff.). Escape The Fate are a metalcore band from Las Vegas, Nevada. They went through major line up problems when former frontman Ronnie Radke got kicked out of the band and sent to prison. Ronnie is now in a new band that he put together called "Falling In Reverse". Craig Mabbit, former Blessthefall vocalist soon took over Ronnie's place. Recently Escape The Fate have lost their guitarist Max Green due to drugs etc. Despite Green leaving Escape The Fate, they are still both on good terms with each other. Craig and the lads turned Escape The Fate into a more mainstream rock sound with a less unclean vocals being used from their former darker/emo selves. "Ungrateful" is Escape The Fate's fourth upcoming album. The album is said to have elements from both their self titled album and "This War Is Ours". Their new tour "The World Is Ours" in South America, with Attack Attack! and two supporting acts; The Word Alive and Mest. The tour then goes on into the United States and Canada but the tour got postponed due to Attack Attack member Andrew having pneumonia. In my opinion, Escape The Fate, have had some major problems in the way of line ups and sticking together, and have still managed to make amazing music through everything that they were/are going through. I don't particularly like them as people, but they do however make great music!

Star Warss!! gkfsggsogidfgsoffdig WOO.

So, a few days ago it was May 4th. All I had was streams of Star Wars all down my social network feeds, don't get me wrong. I love Star Wars, to hell and back, so it was nice to see it everywhere. It just annoys me that, fans or fake fans are all saying "May the fourth be with you!! Lets have a Star Wars marathon because it's Star Wars day." If they were a true fan they'd watch it way more often. Also, I don't understand why people don't ever seem to say Revenge of the 5th. Star Wars happens to be one of my favourite films, so I tend to be biased towards it. It's a film that was very ahead of it's time; still awesome to watch today. With the new technology that Lucas Arts used, they were able to create an amazing series of films. It was first released in 1977. I don't think the storm troopers will ever be able to shoot anyone on target and I've never understood how they always die in one shot with all the body armour that they wear. George Lucas has confirmed that Star Wars will go to bluray (Which it has already done.) and that they will make another 3 films (7,8,9) so that it will turn into a trilogy of trilogies. However George Lucas, wont be the main director as he gave the rights of Star Wars to Disney. He will be, however, involved and will most likely design some of the outfits again. (FUN FACT! Padmé had over 5000 outfits designed for her until they got the perfect few.) As for when 7 8 and 9 are to be released, hasn't been said yet; but as Star Wars fans we should be excited for the new films. In the words of Old Ben (Obi-Wan Kenobi) May the force be with you, always.
So long and goodnight killjoys.

Sleeping With Sirens.

Afternoon Killjoys.

So Sleeping With Sirens (SWS) have been at work in the studio and have released a new song called 'Low' on their soon to be released album Feel. 'Low' is one of those songs that you might not like at first, but i will definitely grow on you; especially if you're a Sleeping With Sirens fan. 'Low' is song that will get stuck in your head, and stay there. As if it's calling out to you, saying "Listen to me. Play me. I need to be heard". 'Low' is the first to be released off of 'Feel'. The song was released on April 22nd 2013 and the album is due out everywhere on June 4th 2013. Sleeping With Sirens have definitely grown as a band, even though they've kept their style relatively similar. They've dropped alot of the aggression that you would usually find in some of their older non-acoustic songs; such as 'If You Can't Hang' and 'Do It Now Remember It Later'. Sleeping With Sirens have added a more electric-pop like vibe to their new song 'Low' -While still keeping it amazing. Some people say that SWS have changed for the better;growing as a band, and that they're in love with the new style. Where as others will say that the band haven't changed in the slightest. In my opinion Sleeping With Sirens have changed from unclean vocals/screaming to a more of a subtle singing, still keeping a little of their previous aggression. Sleeping With Sirens continue to try out new styles, wowing the fans and trying out new things. All in all, I think it's safe to say that we're all looking forward to the new album (Feel) in June.
So long and goodnight.

THIS IS SEMPITERNAL!!!!!!

The wait is finally over! Bring Me The Horizon's new album Sempiternal has stormed to the top of the charts! Bring Me The Horizon, have been busy working on their new album Sempiternal which was released on the 1st of April 2013; Sempiternal was also given an amazing 5K's from Kerrang! Magazine. Bring Me The Horizon have gone to hell and back to create such an amazing album, it's now time to see if it was all worth it in the end. We all know Bring Me The Horizon's front man Oli Sykes has gone through a severely tough time in life and has used this as an influence and inspiration to their latest creations. I think we can all be sure that Oli's wanting fans to be safe and strong; even through the tough times. Oli has said that he's hated himself, that he couldnt look at his  own reflection, and that he found the whole production of Sempiternal theraputic.
In my opinion Bring Me The Horizon have gone through so much pain, stress, and suffering to get where they are today. I think the struggles they went through has influenced them to create an album even more amazing than their last, that not only expresses how they feel, but also send a message out to fans. Towards the musical talent of Bring Me The Horizon, I think they're an amazing British metalcore band that have worked their asses off from a place called Sheffield and they just keep getting better.
So long and goodnight killjoys.

Paramore

Paramore have released a self titled album. So far the pop-rock band have released two new songs. Their albums debut single titled 'Now' along side their second release 'Still Into You' which was released on the 14th of March 2013. The band were originally more of a rock band, until former members Josh and Zac left. This left Paramore to change their style to a more pop side of things. Paramore, still have their rock vibes in with the pop creating an amazing style of music; known as pop-rock. Despite Paramore changing their style throughout the years they have always managed to stay true to themselves. Paramore are often too mainstream and pop for fans to admit, but they still love them. Either way, the band mixing both pop and rock is a good thing as they gain a wider range of fans and engage with different sides of themselves, which they didn't know they had. Paramore played a show at the Garage in London. The performance, was said to be truly amazing. Fans were physically shaking from all the excitement inside of them. The gig was mainly for die-hard fans; like Kerrang! said "One enormous band. One small room. 650 die-hard fans."
In my opinion, Paramore are an amazing band with a mixture of genres making them show new eras to fans, and new sides to pull in more people. I think they've matured as a band and have definatley shown that they aren't children anymore. Paramore have definately got a wide range of fans from all ages.
Paramore got an amazing 7/10 from NME and a whopping 5K's from Kerrang! Magazine.
So long and goodnight killjoys.

Easter

Well this Easter. Man has it been weird. I was at my grandparents for the most of it, we watched a couple of films and a documentary about Fall Out Boy on Kerrang! which was amazing. Easter's been pretty good tbh. Even though I didn't get much chocolate I must admit it was a good weekend. I barely had any bad moods or spots. Which is shocking for me, and i've also been finding a load of the music that I listened to when I was like 9. It's quite funny to look back and see what a weird child i was. Overall Easter was rather dull and boring just like every other weekend!
So long and goodnight Killjoys.

MCR & FOB WHAT IS THIS!!!

Afternoon Killjoys!
So the other day I noticed this really weird thing.
In 2009 My Chemical Romance released a new album and Fall Out Boy anounced that they were going to go on a hiatus. This all caused the two fan bases to go crazy. Then if you look at 2013 Fall Out Boy came off of hiatus anouncing a new album and tour. However not all is great, My Chemical Romance had anounced the break up of the band. This also caused both fan bases to go crazy- again. This shows that the music industry can't handle that amount of perfect at any one time.
Keep your gun close and die with your mask on if you've got to.
So long and goodnight Killjoys.
